Family and Juvenile Law

Divorces

Some couples are able to reach a mutual understanding about the ending of their marriage.  When they can agree on the resolution of all outstanding issues, including the division of marital assets and debts, payment of spousal and/or child support, and custody and visitation matters regarding their children, it may be possible for them to obtain an uncontested divorce. This can spare the family both the expense and stress of a contested divorce.

Our firm can discuss your marital circumstances and moving forward with your divorce.  We can draft a property settlement agreement to commemorate any agreement with your spouse and we strive to make the process as efficient as possible for a flat, reasonable fee, if possible.

Juvenile Matters

It is our priority to assist you with finding the best possible outcome for issues relating to your children, while always having their best interests in mind.  This process includes determining if and how we can reach an agreed resolution of your matter, explaining the procedures of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, and preparing for any hearings that may be necessary.

With that in mind, we can assist and advise on the following issues:

  • Custody and visitation;
  • Child support;
  • Situations involving the abuse and/or neglect of children; and
  • Juvenile criminal matters.
